Last week when we noticed it was a little too warm inside the Laundromat, the ownership team jumped into action at out at our 381 8th Street South, Saint Petersburg, Florida location at the Webbs Plaza shopping center.
After a brief period of troubleshooting, it was determined repair of the existing system would be too costly. So, it was decided to purchase a new system. “It was not too difficult to decide to go ahead with a new system considering how far this location has progressed since early this year in terms of an increase in customer base and customer satisfaction” said one of the team members. Since January, we have painted the entire interior, painted washing machine bases, corrected problems with all machines, improved lighting for our night time customers, and have maintained a machine functionality rating of a sustained 99%, including several periods of 100%. This location, rebuilt and completely rebuilt with new equipment in 2004, is running better than ever in every way possible.

Pretty much any Tuesday, I load up my own bike and run the wash to the laundromat at Kenilworth & Prospect. If I can carry a tent, sliepeng bag, and ground pad on the back of my bike, I can haul my wash with detergent and bleach. No problem with a good touring bike.
